Today, Evelyn and Shiloh go through their journeys of self-compassion and grieving.
Shiloh was born in New Mexico but grew up in Los Angeles. After attending Barnard College in New York City, she began working at UCLA doing research on the intersections of mental and physical health, with a focus on the links between PTSD, trauma, and cardiovascular disease. She hopes to go on to become a Clinical Psychologist with a clinical and research focus on trauma. After losing her mother in 2020, she has become passionate about grief advocacy and helping those who have experienced loss feel less alone and see that life can still be meaningful after loss.
